Frequent visitors (ha!) to this site may have noticed the ‘CapitalYRs McCainSpace‘ link off to the side over there. This links to our the capitalYRs mccainspace site, which is a great way for us to support John McCain.
One area Obama has done well is with online fundraising, clearly demonstrating the rather obvious mathematical point that a whole bunch of $10-$25 contributions can add up to just as much money as a handful of $1000 contributions. I know most of us can’t afford the big money, but it would be kind of cool to demonstrate that as a club we can put together a couple hundred bucks to support our candidate. McCainSpace allows us to aggregate our donations to do just that. And- taking the long view, I guess- once he figures out that the internet is a good place to raise money, maybe he’ll stop sending us so much junk direct mail.
